Here we are again, still raining like you would’t believe, in fact I’m sure there’s more water above than below!! Still doing crosswords, sudoku and reading so in itself it’s still been an interesting week, the forecasts say that tomorrow will be the start of better conditions so we hope that by Monday when we should have the solar panels fitted we may be able to at least get off the mooring. Until then we are forced to just relax and drink and eat, Oh dear never mind then! It’s difficult to believe that poor old Victoria seems to be the only place in the country where it’s not pissing down. Anyway what will be will be and we will continue to make the best of it, we’re still having a good laugh so all is not lost. Take care all and catch you later.

Batten down the Hatches!!

Thanks for keeping us up to date Dad.
I found the last few posts most enjoyable over a cup of strong tea and a couple of poached eggs this morning, and of course, I hasten to add… in the comfort and shelter of our beautiful dry house!
Nothing changes here. Our hanging basket chairs have been put up and are lovely to curl up in and watch the moon (well I think that was earlier this week as we have been unable to see much over the last VERY wet days and nights.
I’m on my way into town now to buy some ingredients to cook butter chicken. Will call in and see Mum, who seems to be having a lovely peaceful time, but I’m sure given that it’s Valentines Day, she’ll be missing you… and your great cooking.
Don’t get too used to the yachting lifestyle, we want you back!
Lots of love,
Al

P.S. Is the boat you’re on the one that’s lit up?
Hi Al, glad to get your comment, first off, no that isn’t the Osiris, it’s a row of trawlers moored oposite us, the new post has a couple of pictures of her. She is really a very very nice yacht with all mod cons, as Python would say “luxury”. Speak to Mum everyday and miss her too. Take care and luv you both.
