About Us

Hi Everyone, well we’re finally off, after quite some time debating it’s all happening, the big trip! Semi-retirement is indeed a wonderful thing although we’re not too sure about what comes after, no matter live for the day they say so here we go. After many years of travel either for business or to visit family we are actually going on an overseas holiday! Our trip includes the exotic and the more shall we say normal holiday destinations, from North Africa to the South of France and the Tuscan hills finishing off with a touch of the absolute modern in Dubai. So all in all we expect to encounter a pretty wide variety of cultures and lifestyles. At 60 plus we have decided to make the most of our youth and get into it as fast as we can while we can, in 20 years when we’re older it might be a tad difficult zimmering off to the pyramids or the local souk. Naturally we will miss our two fantastic offspring but not enough to deter us from going. If you have a few minutes at anytime I hope we will be able to put all the good bits up on the blog which at least may give you all a laugh. Be Lucky!!!
